Using Raycash

Fees & limits

What Raycash charges and how we make money.

Raycash is free to use. No account fee, no card fee, no transfer fee.

We make money in two places, and we want to be direct about both.

The two fees that exist

FX markup — 1.5%

When you spend in a currency other than the one you hold, we apply a 1.5% markup on the exchange rate. That's lower than most neobanks and a fraction of what traditional banks charge.

If you spend in your account currency — no FX, no fee.

Yield share — 1% of ~4%

Balances held in Raycash earn yield from the underlying treasuries backing the supported stablecoins. The protocol currently earns around 4% annualized; we keep 1% and pass the rest (~3%) to you.

You don't pay this. It comes out of the yield before it reaches your balance. We think it's fair to show you the split anyway.

Limits

Limits depend on your KYC tier and region. You can see your current limits inside the app under Settings → Limits.

Typical limits

  • Account balance: up to [tier-dependent]
  • Card spending: daily and per-transaction caps set by your region and card tier
  • Transfers in / out: daily and monthly caps by KYC tier
  • ATM withdrawal: if supported, a daily cap applies

How fees are shown

Before any action that could incur a fee — an FX card swipe abroad, an unwrap to a wallet — the app shows the fee on the confirmation screen. If you don't see a fee disclosed, there isn't one.

When this changes

If we ever change fees, we'll notify you in-app ahead of time. We won't quietly add fees to existing features.
