Getting started
Download the app, create your wallet, and finish KYC.
Opening a Raycash account takes a few minutes. You don't need a crypto wallet first. You don't need to understand blockchains. You just need your phone and an ID.
1. Download the app
Raycash is available on iOS and Android. You'll need a recent device and a phone number or email address to sign in.
2. Sign in
We use passwordless sign-in. Enter your email or phone, we send a one-time code, you're in. No password to remember, no seed phrase to write down on day one.
Behind the scenes, a self-custodial wallet is generated for you on first sign-in. You control it via your login. We'll come back to what that means in Recovery & keys.
3. Verify your identity
Card issuance and IBAN accounts require identity verification. You'll need:
- A government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's license)
- A short selfie check
- Your address
Verification is usually instant. If review is needed, you'll see "In review" with a typical turnaround of a business day. If something is unclear, we'll tell you exactly what to re-upload.
4. Choose your country
Raycash is available in 70+ countries. If yours isn't on the list, join the waitlist — see Supported countries.
5. Fund your account
Once verified, you have three ways to add money:
- Incoming bank transfer to your Raycash IBAN — see Accounts & IBAN
- Onchain deposit of USDC to your deposit address — see Moving money
- From another Raycash user
6. Get your card
Request a virtual card immediately — it's issued in seconds and can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay right away. A physical card is optional and ships to your verified address. See Cards.
Troubleshooting signup
- ID rejected — usually a glare or crop issue; retry in good lighting
- Address mismatch — make sure the address you enter matches the document
- Region unsupported — check Supported countries
- Stuck on verification — contact support from inside the app; we can usually unblock within a business day
